SHINE English Teaching Conference
From Chalk to Chatbots: The Tech Twist on Teaching English
5th of January 2026
Sixth Edition - Online
This year’s theme, “From Chalk to Chatbots: The Tech Twist on Teaching English”, highlights how technology is reshaping both the learning experience and the teacher-student relationship. In an era driven by AI, social media, and rapid cultural shifts, the role of educators goes far beyond delivering content, it involves equipping next-gen learners with essential skills like critical thinking, digital responsibility, and adaptability.
The conference will explore innovative teaching approaches designed to meet the challenges of today’s educational landscape. From interactive digital tools to educational chatbots, participants will discover how to harness technology to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences. Together, we’ll examine how external influences, like pop culture and online trends, can be transformed into powerful educational resources that foster authentic connections and long-lasting impact in the classroom.
